Booking/PR Contact: Stacy Rosen, Kindie Rock PR The new “totally 80’s kids” release, named for the title track, is true to Mr. Leebot’s unique and eclectic musical tributes to Kraftwerk, Talking Heads and Devo. Robot Dance successfully revisits the familiar sounds that have children of the 80’s and their children flocking to the Austin-based artist’s shows. Themes throughout the album capture the kid’s point of view in songs like “It Wasn’t Me”, illustrating the classic ‘I didn’t do it’ excuses of every generation, and “Bouncing Off the Walls”, a common tale of kids’ pent-up energy on a rainy day. The environmentally conscious “Green Family” focuses on recycling and conservation manages a hip and relevant message for kids and their newly conscious parents. Other highlights include “Twirl! Twirl Twirl!”, “Letters and Numbers” and “Paper Airplane”. On his drive to keep this robo-sonic train moving Lee says, “I'm continually inspired by new odd ball sounds, especially when parents tell me how much their kiddos dig the music.” Mr. Leebot’s first album has been recognized as groundbreaking with fun tracks that get kids bouncing along and this highly anticipated new release is being hyped as “Totally Awesome!” Parents and kids are sure to welcome Robot Dance with its wild new sounds and systematic energy.
